SRINAGAR: The Indian Army and police on Saturday recovered nine old and rusted unexploded shells near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Balnoi area of Mendhar in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that a Bomb Disposal Squad was immediately rushed to the spot and the unexploded shells were safely destroyed following standard operating procedures.
No casualties or damage to property were reported in the incident. (KNC)
