In a written reply to Un-Starred Assembly Question No. 499 raised by MLA Rajiv Jasrotia, the Rural Development Department stated that all eligible households are being covered strictly as per the prescribed guidelines of the respective schemes.

“The benefits under various developmental schemes implemented by the Rural Development Department are extended to all eligible individuals and households in accordance with the scheme guidelines,” the reply read.

The Department informed that PMAY-G provides pucca houses with basic amenities to all eligible rural houseless families, particularly those in BPL or economically weaker categories, based on housing deprivation parameters derived from the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011, verified by Gram Sabhas.

To ensure no eligible BPL family is left out, the Government launched the Awaas Plus 2021–22 to 2023–24 initiatives, followed by Awaas Plus 2024, allowing potential beneficiaries to self-register through a dedicated mobile app, subject to verification by concerned authorities.

“The Awaas Plus 2024 drive has given an opportunity to eligible left-out households to apply for inclusion under PMAY-G,” the reply added.

To enhance awareness, the Department conducted Gram Sabha meetings, campaigns, seminars, and IEC activities at the Panchayat, Block, and District levels to ensure inclusion of all left-out BPL households.

The Government also clarified that the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) data — which forms the basis for BPL identification — is available in the public domain on the official website of the Ministry of Rural Development: [https://secc.dord.gov.in](https://secc.dord.gov.in).
