The Cross LoC trade at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir shall not take place on Tuesday due to the road blockage from Muzaffarabad side.

According to officials at Trade Facilitation Centre, Uri, the road has got blocked near Chinari in Muzaffarabad due to land sliding.

“We have got information that landslides have hit the road connecting Srinagar to Muzaffarabad at Chinari in Pakistan administered Kashmir,” an official at TFC Uri told Kashmir Life adding, “So, there will be no trade activity between the divided Kashmir on Tuesday.”

Meanwhile, due to the landslides, the routine bus service too was affected on Monday.

“The bus coming from PaK had four passengers which crossed to this side but they had to be shifted to Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) at Chinari point because passage for the normal bus was not possible,” the official informed adding, “likewise, 12 passengers (11 returnees, 01 fresh) crossed to the other side of this Kashmir boarding such Light Motor Vehicles.”
