This well-known saying came good to a 4-year old boy who miraculously escaped unhurt in a road accident which claimed the life of his mother and grievously injured two others.
Mano, Son of Manoj Kumar , miraculously escaped unhurt in the mishap when the driver of a speedy winger lost control over the wheels and fell into a stream resulting in injuries to three persons, police said.
The accident occurred near Nadya Kasi on Bandi Machi Churand road of Uri town in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Police said that the driver of speedy Winger bearing registration No. Jk05D O335 on way to Bandi lost his control on the vehicle and fell into a stream, resulting in injuries to three people. The injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Uri for initial treatment.
Hospital authorities at Sub District Hospital Uri, identified the injured as Anju Babla( 35) wife of Natar Kumar resident of Bandi Dayar, Sanju Devi( 25) wife of Manoj Kumar resident of Deyar and Mohammad Irfan (22) son of Mohammad Kabir resident of Machichurand.
Sanju Devi, the mother of Mano, succumbed to her injuries later.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot. However police has registered a case in this regard.
