SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested a non-local for supplying banned drugs to the drug peddlers in Srinagar.
Mohammad Asim, a resident of Darya Ganj Delhi, wanted in a case registered by Police Station M R Gunj under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was arrested by Srinagar police on Tuesday.
Srinagar police in a post on its social media handle X said, “The main accused identified as Mohammad Asim a resident of Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar Delhi who was supplying drugs to drug peddlers in Srinagar was arrested. Asim is the main supplier of contraband Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus to drug peddlers in Srinagar”, Srinagar police said on social media handle X.
“During investigation of the Case FIR No. 25 /2023 U/S 8 /22 , 27 (A ) NDPS ACT of MR Gunj PS, the main accused namely Mohd Asim S/o Mohd Tauseef R/o Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar, Delhi arrested. He is main supplier of Contraband Spasmo-proxyvon plus to drug peddlers in Srinagar”, Srinagar police said
