SRINAGAR: A 20-year-old non-local boy sustained burn injuries in a cooking gas cylinder blast incident at Mirzapora Kachachkoot in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
An official said that the injured has been identified as Wasim Ahmad Khan, a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, presently putting up at Mirzapora Kachachkoot.
He was first shifted to PHC Awantipora for preliminary treatment and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in critical condition.
Police have taken note of the incident and further investigation has started. (KNC)
