SRINAGAR: A man hailing from Uttar Pradesh was found dead inside a car in the Batwara area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday evening, officials reported.
An official said that the deceased was identified as Badree Gupta, the son of Madan Gupta, and was a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Upon receiving the information, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of the area, Mansha Beigh, visited the scene. Subsequently, the police took possession of the body.
“The body has been transported to SMHS Hospital for medico-legal formalities, and the police have initiated an investigation into the incident,” the official stated. (KNO)
