SRINAGAR: A non-local minor boy sustained serious injuries after his throat was allegedly slit with a sharp-edged object inside his rented accommodation in the Safakadal area of Srinagar, officials said on Saturday.
According to official sources, the injured boy was referred to SMHS Hospital following the incident, which occurred inside his rented room in Safakadal.
The victim has been identified as a 16-year-old resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, who is currently staying in Safakadal, Srinagar.
The boy’s health condition is awaited. Police have taken cognisance of the matter, and further investigation is ongoing. (KNC)
