SRINAGAR: A non-local labourer was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his room at the Industrial Estate in Chotipora, Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Monday.
They said that the deceased has been identified as Phool Mohammad, 65, son of Sulaiman Miya, a resident of Bihar, who had been working at the Industrial Estate Handwara.
They said the labourer was discovered lying unconscious inside his accommodation this morning. He was later declared dead on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter, and further details are awaited. (KNC)
