Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding – in – Chief, Northern Command on Tuesday visited forward posts in eastern Ladakh and reviewed operational preparedness being maintained in the sector.
The spokesman said that he was accompanied by the Fire and Fury Corps Commander.
“The Army Commander was briefed in detail by the General Officer Commanding Trishul Division about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in eastern Ladakh,” he said.
“During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their hardwork and dedication in their brave endeavor to safeguard the Nation’s borders while operating in hostile terrain and adverse weather conditions,” said the spokesman in a statement
