SRINAGAR: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Thursday said that it never got the settlement done under Roshni Act.
A spokesperson of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated that we have been allotted land on lease vide Government order No.REV(NDK)203 of 2000 Dated: 24-11-2000 and subsequently, we are paying rent under the allotment.
“The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry being registered under Companies Act and could have never got the settlement done under Roshni Act,” said the spokesman.
“Now today some daily News Papers have carried the news of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the beneficiaries under Roshni Act which is completely false,” said KCCI spokesman in a statement.
