SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Brigadier (retd) B D Mishra on Monday claimed that China has not occupied even one square inch of land in the UT adding that the armed forces are prepared to tackle any situation.
LG Mishra was talking to the reporters on the sidelines of North Tech Symposium in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu.
Replying to a question about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remark on China occupying a large chunk of land in Ladakh, he said, “I won’t comment on anybody’s statement. I have seen myself on the ground that not even one square inch of our land is occupied by the Chinese,” the LG Ladakh said.
LG Mishra said, “I will say the fact that not even one square inch of our land is occupied by the Chinese and if anyone is engaging in any misadventure, the armed forces are prepared to give a “bloody nose” to them.”
“Our armed forces are prepared for any eventuality and the morale of the forces is very high. The credit to this boost goes to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he asserted—(KNO)
