The National Conference Sunday said the party is not satisfied with the present Governor Rule and accused that Governor NN Vohra has failed to deal with problems of common people.

Senior NC leader and MLA Sonawari Akbar Lone told KNS if Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has any respect for the aspirations of the people they should join the hands with his party for the government formation.

“National Conference is not satisfied with Governor Rule. Vohra after assuming all the charges of the state failed to deal with the problems of people. The people are suffering and they find it hard to solve their problems in the Governor Rule,” Lone said.

Cautioning PDP not to join hands with BJP he said, “If PDP has any respect for the aspirations of people they should not waste time and should join hands with NC for the formation of government, If PDP at all has any respect for the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir they should end the impasse of government formation and should join the hands with NC.”

He asked how can PDP form a government with BJP when there is a huge difference between the ideologies of the both the parties. “If PDP is talking about the number game then they are quite comfortable with the BJP but there is a huge difference between the ideologies of both the parties. God forbid if PDP will form the government with BJP, PDP will be no more in the state,” he claimed.

Asked about the possibility of the BJP-NC government, Lone said, “I want to clear it to the people that National Conference will never form the government with the BJP and was never in talks with BJP over the government formation.”

“If god forbid there is any such move from NC I will be the first person who will oppose this decision,” he added.
