The Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education (BOSE) on Thursday announced 50 percent relaxation in syllabus for all students appearing in 10th and 12th class examinations.

This was announced by Chairman BOSE Zahoor Ahmad Chatt in a presser at his Bemina office.

The examinations would be held as per schedule, he asserted.

He also announced that the examinations would start at 11 am instead of 1 pm.

Students in Kashmir have been demanding deferment of examination due to the prevailing circumstances.
