The ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) legislator and MLA Akhnoor Rajeev Sharma on Tuesday questioned government for not registering FIR against the army in Shopian killing Incident.
Raising the “Point of Information” during discussion on grants of PHE & IFC, he said that if government lodged FIR against Army, why they didn’t register FIR against the Youth who pelted stones on forces.
He demanded the FIR lodged against the youth who pelted stones on forces.
Later Opposition National Conference and Congress leaders questioned the government for not having a clear stand on it. “Are you questioning the credibility of your own chief minister who has initiated a time-bound probe,” they said.
