Now VHP Stakes Claim to ‘Public Interest’ Issues in Kashmir

A top Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Tuesday met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhavan here and informed the Governor about various “important matters of high public interest and the feedback he had gained during the course of his travels to all parts of the state,” VHP spokesperson said

Singh also raised the “issue about the adverse consequences of Pakistan’s stepping up of activities along the LoC”.

Pertinently, several civilians were killed on both sides of the border in the exchange of firing between the armies of India and Pakistan in past month.
