Srinagar
A nurse from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district was found dead on Tuesday at her rented accommodation in Soura area of Srinagar.
Reports said a nurse identified as Afrooza Akhter, wife of Raouf Ahmad Shah of Thamankoot, Verinag working at a private hospital in Srinagar was found unconscious at her rented accommodation.
An official said that soon after receiving the information, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
He said that the body has been taken to a hospital for medico legal formalities.
“Police has started investigations to ascertain the cause of death,” said an official.
