SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of two senior officials, including J&K Sports Council Secretary Nuzhat Gul.
As per Government Order No. 1465-JK(GAD) of 2026, Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Kisans, with immediate effect.
The order, issued by the General Administration Department, said the transfer was made “in the interest of administration”. Gul shall be deemed to have been relieved immediately from her present place of posting.
In a separate order issued on the same day, Tariq Ahmad Kakroo, General Manager (Operations), Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC), was transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Other Backward Classes.
The posting of Kakroo also takes effect immediately, with the government order stating that he shall be deemed to have been relieved from his present place of posting.
