SRINAGAR: JK National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for raising concerns over the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for election campaigning, while welcoming the release of Er Rashid.
Speaking to reporters in Kupwara, Omar, highlighted the irony in the BJP’s stance.
“When Arvind Kejriwal was allowed to campaign, they opposed it across the country. The BJP questioned how someone could be released from jail for campaigning, yet today, they welcomed the release of Er Rashid,” Omar said. —(KNO)
