Stating that coalition system of government has failed to deliver in Jammu and Kashmir and Omar government failed to deliver, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Tuesday appealed people to vote for Congress candidates so that it can form a government of its own.

Rahul was addressing an election rally at Lolab in district Kupwara. He was accompanied by Ambika Soni and PCCI chief Saif-ul-din Soz.

“Coalition system of government has not proved good for the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Rahul said.

He alleged Omar government of failing on all fronts. “Last government failed to deliver it was lethargic and did not fulfill the people’s aspirations.”

Rahul appealed people of Kashmir to vote for the Congress candidates so that it can form a strong government on its own.

Claiming that Congress government was serious to implement its program of connectivity in J&K which according to him helped the people of Kashmir to reach the markets outside the state.

Rahul said that the biggest achievement of the Congress government in New Delhi was to create an atmosphere of peace in J&K.

Rahul while criticizing PM Modi said that instead of connecting people, Modi was on path of dividing people all over India.
