After being together in Kashmir, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Jammu & Kashmir’s chief minister Omar Abdullah were seen together in former’s parliamentary constituency, Amethi.

Reported by IBNS, Rahul accompanied by Omar reached at Fursatganj airport on Tuesday morning for a day long visit, had a brief interaction with local residents, visited parts of constituency to take stock of developmental activities.

Sources say, Rahul took Omar along to show him ongoing works of the self-help groups in his constituency.

Impressed with activities of the women groups, Omar said he would implement such programmes in Jammu and Kashmir and if required take some people from here to train them.

The duo was accompanied by state congress president Saifuddin Soz and the party in-charge in the state Mohan Prakash.
