Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today inaugurated Sher-i- Kashmir T-20 cricket Tournament here by filliping the coin for the two teams participating in the inaugural match. He also did some batting on the pitch.
While interacting with the teams, Omar told them to uphold sportsmen spirit under all circumstances and exhibit highest degree of discipline. “Losing or winning of a game is immaterial but participating as worthy sports persons, performing to once best capacity and maintaining quality of conduct while plying is counted a lot at the end of the day”, he told the players.
About 140 teams, from across the state is going to participate in the tournament which is being organized by Youth National Conference.
