Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Wednesday reviewed the status of
progress on reconstruction of Peer-e-Dastgeer (RA) Shrine at Khanyar
in the 17th meeting of Waqaf Board here and reiterated recreation of
the Shrine as ‘heritage replica’.
Chairing the meeting, the chief minister received detailed account of
construction work and other related aspects from the concerned
agencies entrusted the work of recreation of the shrine.
Minister for Rural Development, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Vice Chairman
Muslim Waqaf Board, M. Y. Qadri, Members of the Board and officers
from JKPCC and representatives of INTECH were present in the meeting.
