As Omar Abdullah’s wheel came to full circle as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, he submitted his resignation to Governor NN Vohra in Jammu Wednesday.
However, the Governor asked him to remain in the office till the formation of the new dispensation.
As soon as his resignation was accepted he changed his bio on his twitter handle out to “Former CM of J&K; MLA from Beerwah, Budgam (the gateway to Gulmarg).”
On Tuesday the state assembly election results were out and Omar’s party could manage only 15 seats out of the 87. But soon after his followers were expecting him to change his bio on twitter and to many such questions he tweeted, “Photo changed because the party logo was only being used till the elections & my bio will change once I’ve called on the Governor tomorrow.”
And today afternoon, the ‘twitter CM’ changed his bio and within seconds he tweeted, “Bio changed :-)”
