Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Thursday visited Hira Nagar and inspected the Police Station which was raided by militants, killing police personnel. He went to the house of slain Suresh Kumar, stayed with the bereaved family and conveyed his sympathy to it.

The Chief Minister also visited Samba Army Camp and paid tributes to the Army personnel who lost their lives in the attack.

Omar interacted with the Army officers and conveyed his condolence to them. He prayed for peace to the departed souls. On the occasion, Maj General, Balbir Singh briefed the Chief Minister about the attack.

The Chief Minister also visited Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu to enquire the status of those injured in the two terrorist attacks at Hira Nagar and Samba
