Two days after authorities lifted curfew, many parts of Kashmir observed strike on 3rd day of Gool Killing by BSF. There are reports of clashes and stone pelting in various parts of valley on Sunday.

To register their protest against Gool killings, people in old city’s Nawhatta area offered prayers on main road and prayed for the departed souls.

There are reports of stone pelting from Srinagar’s Nowshera, Habba Kadal and other areas against the alleged discretion of The Holy Quran and killings of four persons by BSF in Gool on Thursday.

Pertinently, after the manhandling of a local imam by BSF personnel, who reportedly objected to the late night buzz around the mosque in Ramazan, the locals organised a protest, citing interference with their religious obligations on Thursday. However, the protest march was fired upon.

Soon after the incident, various religious, separatists, traders groups and bar association had called for shutdown against the killing.
