SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Retailer’s Association (KRA), which is affiliated with Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT)’s Kashmir chapter has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to allow markets be be open this Sunday for Eid-Ul-Azha shopping.

KRA president Farhan Kitab, in a statement said that as there are only few days left before Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated, government should allow markets to remain open across Kashmir this Sunday.

He said that market should be allowed to remain open for the festive shopping on the weekend for the benefit of the shoppers and the shopkeepers alike.
