Srinagar

Responding to the call of joint Resistance Leadership, several leaders and activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) today staged a solidarity march in Srinagar for political prisoners lodged in various jails in and outside the state.

Led by Zonal President of JKLF Noor Mohammad Kalwal, several JKLF leaders and activists participated in the march in Maisuma area of the city after Friday prayers.

“We took out this march on the call of J R L to express solidarity with Hurriyat leaders and activists, including men, women and children, lodged in jails in and outside the state,”  Kalwal  told Kashmir wire.

He said the protest was also organized to condemn the crackdown launched by the government forces in south Kashmir. “The ‘Operation all-out’ launched by forces in the Valley is aimed at massacre of Kashmiri youth,” he alleged. (Kashmir Wire).
