A person was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir police with double barrel 12-bore gun and live cartridges in Jammu city outskirts.
“Acting on tip off, a nakka was laid on Sunday evening in Phinder area of R S Pura and the accused was intercepted,” police said on Monday.
They said that one 12-bore double barrel gun and 11 live cartidges were recovered from the possession of the identified–Ashok Dingra, resident of Phinder village.
A case under Arms Act and other relevant section was registered against him.
