SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident on Wednesday morning in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, a minibus collided with a private vehicle resulting in the death of a student. Additionally, twenty-one individuals sustained injuries in the road mishap.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Scroll said that a mini-bus bearing registration number JK11A3415 was on its way to Rajouri from Manjakote when it collided with a private car bearing registration number JK02 CP 2442.
In the mishap, a student was killed, while other passengers sustained injuries. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Out of the 21 individuals who were injured, 12 are students who were on their way to their respective schools.
A police official said that they have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations.
