In a tragic road accident in J&K’s Reasi district today, a vehicle met with an accident and claimed the life of one passenger and five others were injured.
Reports said that two vehicles collided with each other at Maghal Katra area of district Reasi, resulting in the death of one female passenger identified as Pooja, a resident of Himachal Pradesh and five others were injured. The injured persons were later identified as Major Kartik, Ravinder Singh, son of Sohan Singh, Kayaan, son of Major Karthik, Kiyush, son of Major Karthik, all residents of Himachal Pradesh and Major Shreeshine, a resident of Hyderabad.
Soon after the incident, all the injured persons were shifted to CHC Katra in critical condition. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased woman was shifted to the mortuary room of CHC Katra.
Police have also taken the cognizance of the incident.
