A person died on the spot while as another person was injured in a road mishap at Turkipora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday.
Reports said that today at about 3:00 pm one vehicle Maruti 800 bearing registration No JK15: 3734 skidded off the road and rolled down near Turkpora.
In the incident, Abdul Kareem Gojer son of Mustufa Gojer of Trukpora Bandipora and Mushtaq Ahmad were injured seriously. The mishap took place when Abdul Kareem was learning driving in the area.
A police officer also confirmed the death in the mishap.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection,” the officer said. (GNS)
