A passenger was dead and seven others sustained injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident on Srigufwara-Khiram road, in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Monday.
Reports said that a vehicle (Tavera) on way from Srigufwara to Khiram lost its control at Dancard-Nowhshara on Khiram road, and fell into a canal, resulting in the death of a passenger and injuries to seven others.
There were no immediate reports of the identification of the passengers; however, a local source identified the tree injured persons who were shifted to district hospital Islamabad for the treatment, as Atiqua Banoo, Afrooza Banoo, Hajra Banoo, all from Nambal area of Islamabad district.
Medical Superintendent Islamabad said that they have received three patients, all females and one out of three was brought dead.
