A person died in clashes between two families in Baramulla over the kidnapping of a minor girl. Baramulla police registered a case of kidnapping against Shabir Ahmad Parry son of Ali Mohammad resident of Kralpora, Pattan, who is alleged to have kidnapped a minor girl from Dandmoh Chandoosa. A case FIR No 05/13 under section 363,109 PRC stands registered in Police Station Chandoosa against the kidnapper.
The families of the kidnapper and the victim clashed with each other on Jan 26, 2013. During the clashes the uncle of the kidnapped girl, Ghulam Mohammad Khanday son of Ghulam Mohi -u -Din Khanday resident of Dandmoh Chandoosa got killed in the clashes. The situation was brought under control by the police. A case FIR No 06/2013 under section 302 RPC has been registered a case in this regard. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites after the completion of all legal formalities.
