SRINAGAR: One person lost her life, and 11 other passengers were injured in a road accident in Ramban district on Monday.
An official said that a Tata Sumo traveling from Chabba to Ramban met with an accident around 10:15 AM at Galli Upper Neera. “The accident resulted in the death of a woman, identified as Sankesha Devi (wife of Raghbeer Singh, resident of Chabba, aged 33). She was taken to District Hospital (DH) Ramban, where doctors declared her brought dead.”
The official added that 11 injured passengers have been shifted to DH Ramban for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation. (JKNS)
