A man was killed and six others injured after a load carrier in which they are traveling skidded off the road on Monday afternoon at about 1:30 hrs in Manshtar (Chowkibal) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A load carrier bearing registration no. JK02AF-2207 skidded off the road and fell into deep nallah resulting in on spot death of a person and injuries to six persons.
Four among the injured are said to be critical and have been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment while the two injured have been shifted to Kupwara district Hospital.
Meanwhile, police in this regard has registered a report and identified deceased as Parvaiz Ahmad Khawaja son of Mohammad Yousuf Khawaja resident of Dardpora Kupwara.
