Another militant has been killed in the ongoing gunbattle between forces and militants in Bahmnoo village of Pulwama district Monday morning.
Earlier police officials said that one militant identified as Kifayat was killed in the encounter.
They said that two more militants were trapped in the encounter identifying one of them as Jahangir.
However, local sources in Pulwama told Kashmir Life that Jahangir has also been killed while the third unidentified militant is still engaged in the encounter.
Acting on a specific information forces including Army, CRPF and police launched an operation at Bahmnoo village of Pulwama district.
After establishing contact with the hiding militants, an encounter started in the village.
Meanwhile clashes have been reported around the encounter site.
