SRINAGAR: A pilgrim was killed while three others were injured in a road mishap in Katra Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.
An official said that a vehicle carrying pilgrims from Delhi was on its way to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine when the driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle skidded off the road near Katra.
“In the mishap, four pilgrims were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries while others are undergoing treatment.”
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of the road mishap. (KS)
