The Srinagar Jammu highway has been thrown open for the one way traffic on Monday.
An official from the Traffic department said that “due to the bad road conditions only one-way traffic will be allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Vehicles will be allowed to move from Srinagar to Jammu and no vehicle will be allowed to move from the opposite direction.”
“This precaution has been taken keeping the safety of the travellers in mind,” he added.
