SRINAGAR: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday announced that former Supreme Court judge and Goa’s first Lokayukta, B Sudhershan Reddy, will be the joint candidate of opposition parties for the upcoming Vice-Presidential election.
Kharge as per NDTV report, said the decision was taken unanimously by all INDIA bloc parties. “I am happy that all opposition parties have agreed to one name. It is a big achievement for democracy,” he added.
