Senior Congress leader and Minister for Health and Medical Education Taj Mohi-ud-Din Monday said that doors of party were open for coalition to both National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) post-elections.

Talking to KNS after filing his nomination papers from Uri assembly constituency, he said, “There won’t be any government in Jammu and Kashmir without the support of Congress. We have our options open with both NC and PDP. But it is sure Congress will be part of next coalition government. Congress has always remained in coalition and will remain so in future.”

“Our doors are open for any party except BJP. Congress is a secular party and will remain so forever,” he added.

Taj claimed that Congress will win atleast six seats in Kashmir valley. “There may be some impact of BJP in Jammu region due to polarization but what they claim is a hoax. BJP claims are mere slogans as they don’t have any base in Kashmir,” Taj said.

The Congress leader claimed that he will win the Uri seat with huge margin. “My priority in Uri in last 12 years was development and it is visible. NC and PDP candidates show their faces to people during elections only, but I am here always with my people,” he said.

Taj said the performance of coalition government in the last six years was good six years. “We did lot of development in the state during this period,” he added.
