SRINAGAR: A devastating overnight fire engulfed a three-storey residential house near Islamia College on Sunday. The fire broke out around 1:30 am, sparking panic among residents.
Fire tenders rushed to the scene. With the support of residents and police personnel, the situation was controlled.
Efforts continued to douse the flames for several hours, with authorities working tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring properties.
There have been no reports of injuries so far, even though there has been significant damage to the structure. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet. The investigation into the cause of fire is underway.
