Overnight rain gives Kashmir residents respite from cold

As per the local MeT department due to a series of Western Disturbances affecting the hilly state of Jammu & Kashmir moderate rains have occurred all over Kashmir on Saturday.

Earlier, on Friday the local MeT of Jammu and Kashmir had forecasted a moderate snow and rainfall all over the state from February 23 to 25.

The Srinagar city has recorded 5.8 degree Celsius. Tourist destination Pahalgam was at 2.7 degrees and Gulmarg recorded minus 2.0 degree Celsius.

Jammu city was at 15.3, Katra 13.8, Batote 7.3, Banihal 7.2, Bhaderwah 6.4, Udhampur was at 14.0 degrees Celsius and Leh was coldest at minus 3.0.
