SRINAGAR: Traffic Police City Srinagar on Friday announced that the ‘Paddle for Peace’ event scheduled for October 18, 2026, has been postponed, withdrawing the traffic advisory issued in connection with the event.
In a statement, the Traffic Police said the notified traffic restrictions would not be imposed following the postponement.
Earlier, the Traffic Police had announced the closure of Boulevard Road from 5 am on Sunday to facilitate the smooth conduct of the event.
With the restrictions withdrawn, the planned road closure will not take place as scheduled.
