SRINAGAR: The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) began a meeting at the residence of Dr Farooq Abdullah in Jammu on Tuesday to discuss the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and draft by delimitation commission.
The PAGD is an alliance of mainstream political parties seeking the restoration of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir which was revoked by the Centre in August 2019.
Senior PAGD leader said that the meeting is part of a programme to discuss the expansion of the alliance in the Jammu region and draft recommendations of the J&K Delimitation Commission.
NC, PDP, Apni Party and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad have held a series of rallies in the Jammu region this month.
