General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt Gen Om Prakash Monday said that Pakistan Army and Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) were hand in glove and were carrying most of the activities jointly.

“LeT per se is hand in glove with Pakistani forces. Most of their activities are carried jointly. They have been infiltrating militants to Kashmir valley,” Gen Prakash said while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in Ashmuqam area of Islamabad.

On the recent surge in ceasefire violations on the Line of Control, he said, “Though there have been a large number of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops we have taken adequate measure and when required we have retaliated. Situation throughout the LoC on Indian side is peaceful.”

“In October Pakistani forces fired in Uri sector in which three civilians were killed,” he added.
