Police Keran recovered an unidentified male dead body from River Kishan Ganga at Liukakar Teetwal, Kupwara.
A police statement said that the body was later identified as Mohammad Ali Mir son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Bandi Tehsil Atmaqam District Neelam of Pakistan Administered Kashmir.
It added that the matter has been taken up with the authorities for disposal of the dead body.
