SRINAGAR: The Indian Army on Friday night said that Pakistan troops resorted to unprovoked firing at multiple locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
“During the night of May 1 and 2, 2025, Pakistan Army posts resorted to unprovoked small arms firing from posts across the Line of Control opposite Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Naushera, and Akhnoor areas of J&K,” the Army said in a statement.
It said that Indian Army troops responded in a “calibrated and proportionate manner” to the provocation. (JKNS)
