SRINAGAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar Saturday said that Lone Pakistani militant is involved in carrying out the attack.
This was stated by IGP during a joint review meeting in Bandipora.
Quoting official sources news agency KNO reported that GOG Kilo Force visited to Bandipora, inspected the scene of the militant attack
They said that IGP took joint meetings of the army, CRPF and police officers and reviewed operational works and instructed field officers to generate specific inputs and enhance anti-militant operations in the district.
“A Single Pakistani militant came and fired upon the driver and one PSO of SHO but couldn’t snatch weapon due to retaliation by second PSO,” the IGP said.
He said that a single Pakistani militant of LeT carried an attack yesterday. However, two OGWs have facilitated him.
