Army Sunday paid tributes to three slain personnel killed in a militant attack on Saturday in South Kashmir’s Kadladal area of Pampore in district Pulwama.

According to army spokesman, among senior army and civil officials Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmed Khan and Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen JS Sandhu were present.

Spokesman further said that the mortal remains of the slain soldiers – Naik (Gnr) Ratheesh C  a resident of Kannur district in Kerala, Gunner Farate Sourabh Nandkumar, resident Pune Maharashtra and Gunner Shashikant Pandey, resident of  Jharkhand would be flown to their natives places where they will be laid to rest with full military honours.
